Job Summary

We are privately held, Africa originated and globally focused financial service and alternative asset managing firm. We provide technology driven, innovative financing and wealth creation solutions targeting consumer lending, SME lending, mortgage and real estate development financing. We currently seek a mid-level Talent to lead our Digital Media and Communications Team in the capacity of Brand & Communications Manager

 

Smmary of Role

•  Lead the Brand Communications Team to continually enhance brand image, increase brand/products awareness across all communications and media actions on all channels including online and social media

•  Acts as Brand spokesperson with media relations, formulates and implements public relations strategies, selects and manages communications with external agencies and develop media marketing strategies

•  Provide support to the Marketing Team through advertisements, media, partnerships and relationship marketing: all geared towards creating funnels for the Marketing Team

•  Create and implement short/mid/long-term (as may be demanded from time to time) communication strategy for the Brand

•  Produce monthly, quarterly and yearly commercial calendar plan for the Brand and products

•  Maintain and grow social media presence across all digital channels thereby creating sales funnel and leads by ensuring interaction with company website/media pages

•  Optimize digital marketing campaigns, measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns

•  Create content in collaboration with product managers, vet contents created by product managers or others before use/print

•  Other task as may be assigned by the COO from time to time 

 

Key Performance Measurement

•  Social media strategy: functionality of all social media pages and number of interactions across company’s social media pages

•  Number of sales lead generated directly from interactions (online/offline/events/adverts/campaigns etc) 

•  Prompt preparation and implementation of commercial calendar, communication strategy and budget to achieve set targets

•  Ensure quarterly broadcast media engagement

•  Great quality and error free contents (directly or indirectly created) as measured by comments and feedbacks (internal and external customers), including handing of stalkers and bad comments 

 

Specification

Minimum of 3 years verifiable experience in similar role

Smart individuals with eye for minute details     

 

Report Lines

Role reports to the Chief Operating Officer

Content creator, graphic Artist support and report to this role
