Responsibilities
Develop (and support the execution) of a community strategy that aligns with and supports business objectives.
Build and manage a data-driven, high performance community team.
Create guidelines for community management to ensure continued outstanding developer experience.
Build our developer relations program, from the ground up, to enhance developer advocacy and evangelism.
Implement multiple developer marketing initiatives that grow developer awareness and usage of Rocket.Chat.
Establish and execute developers / users training and certification programs to improve overall community engagement and growth – working with education professionals and technical teams.
Adapt and extend existing community health and community growth analytic metrics to measure community growth progress; establish sub metrics for measurable team-wide performance and progress that align with company OKRs.
Implement and support the execution of various strategic initiatives such as events, podcast, blogs, community VIP program, live streams and contributors program.
Extend and build new partnerships between Rocket.Chat and other well-known global open source communities.
Monitor latest community management and product led growth trends, evaluate and adopt the best practices and tooling to increase community and company staff engagement.
Requirements
Proven industry experience in driving community engagement and growth.
Domain expertise in community management, developer relations and developer marketing.
Strong empathy and passion for community and customer success.
Experience building and managing high performing teams that are focused on impact. Ability to inspire and guide the team.
Ability to build key relationships with global champions of Rocket.Chat within the organizations of our community and customer base.
Exceptional communicator – both written and verbal; in English
Ability to work independently and concurrently on multiple efforts.
