Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong working relationship across the organization
International customer onboarding, money flows, and security settlement
Be a leader to develop and attract top talent for Alpaca in clearing, settlement, and accounting
Monitor and supervise daily processing and activity in accordance with SEC and FINRA broker dealer rules and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to understand upstream and downstream impacts to operational processes
Written and verbal communication is a key to success
Provide input into new procedures and processes and help improve the client experience
Strong Customer Service focus
Ad hoc duties and projects as assigned
Required Qualifications and Experience:
5+ years experience in a related role
Series 7 and 24 License required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
In-depth knowledge of Securities products
Experience with banking and custodial relationships, including DTCC and OCC
Understanding of Settlement processing for various security products
Thorough understanding of Customer protection rules
Ability to work effectively and supportively within a team environment and the ability to work independently
Must possess the ability to adapt to a changing business and regulatory environment
Enjoys challenges and taking ownership of new responsibilities
