Job Summary

Responsibilities

Oversee all company management accounts preparation to a strict deadline
Creation and submission of annual statutory accounts and tax filings.
Create monthly and annual reports to identify trends and variances to budgets
Quarterly and annual budget and forecasting
Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and balances (direct and indirect/modeling)
Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems
Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with all regulations and management of annual audit
Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction and commercial opportunities
Improve processes/key controls to prevent errors in reporting while driving efficiency’s where possible
Report to the Head of Operations, senior executives & stakeholders with timely and accurate financial information
Management of a small Finance team

Requirements:

Extensive experience as a Controller, CPA, Accounting Manager, or similar (ideally, 5+ years), ideally in the US and Canada.
A proven track record of confidentially keeping detailed records for an 8-figure/year organization.
The ability to produce and manage outstanding financial processes, which analyze extreme detail.
The ability to adapt — you can pivot like a champ, and no challenge proves too difficult for you.
The attitude, drive, and time-management skills to work from anywhere.
Serious creativity — you have problem solving running through your veins.
Experience in working in a remote capacity.
