A Marketing company located within Ikoyi Lagos, Nigeria is recruiting to fill the position of a Graphic/UI/UX Designer.
Responsibilities:
• Design layout for both electronic and print media for client requests and events (flyers, posters, banners, collaterals, logos, invitations, postcards, newsletters, newspaper ads, etc.)
• Design visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
• Design graphics, page layouts, and animation and enhance its entire beauty to create visual appeal.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
• Communicate design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Develop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
• Produce and illustrate high-quality UX design ideas through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, process flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
• Design UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for the company’s digital assets.
• Collaborate with the marketing team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
Job Requirements
• Minimum of B.Sc./HND from a reputable higher institution
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience as UI/UX Designer or in a similar role
• Portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web/mobile platforms
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDraw etc.
