Responsibilities
Demonstrate experience in formal project management methodologies to contribute to the creation, development and deployment of effective processes, tools and technologies.
Ensure project and program managers have the structure and capabilities to effectively deliver projects and programs.
Recruit, develop, retain and encourage a versatile team of project managers.
Manage and lead the PM team to achieve organizational goals.
Prepare cost analysis, proposals, and presentations as needed.
Ensure visibility of risk and issue resolution and mitigation plans and status to all partners.
Effectively communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to staff regarding services requests, projects and initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships across Mozilla to ensure that delivered services and end-user efficiency goals are understood and exceeded.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer, Mathematics, or Business-related field or relevant work experience.
5+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education as a technology Project/Program Manager.
2+ years of management experience.
Thorough understanding and historical application of Waterfall and Agile in a technology environment.
A consistent track record to lead cross-functional teams with varying personalities and work styles.
Success delivering key initiatives such as technology migrations, system integrations, new product launches, business application deployments, and business process automation.
