We are looking for a Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to help our employees advance their skills and knowledge. In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn and grow. Excellent communication skills are essential. If you also have experience designing e-learning courses and managing budgets, we’d like to meet you.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Co-ordinate all on and off-site trainings and ensure timely delivery of training materials to participants and facilitators.
Maintain and regularly update the Learning & Development database- exams, awards, training programmes, approved learning plans, etc.
Initiate new Learning & Development initiatives, policies and other relevant HR initiatives.
Work directly with the Learning & Development Manager in designing training plans.
Prepare executive training feedback summary reports.
Collate eLearning completion reports on a regular basis, track and monitor eLearning deadlines.
Hire and oversee training and L&D Specialists
Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3 years’ experience in the role.
Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods.
Track budgets and negotiate contracts.
Professional certification is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Evaluate individual and organizational development needs.
Implement various learning methods company wide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training).
Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings.
Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
