Job Summary

Soteria Eye Clinic is looking for an organized, diligent and driven operations officer to join our team to increase the efficiency and profitability of our operations. In this role, your duties will include collaborating with relevant staff, departments, and vendors to ensure timely processing and delivery of quality services across all branches; while conferring with supervisors and department heads to resolve operational problems and ensure positive internal and external customer relationships.

To be successful in this role, candidate must demonstrate an excellent operational competency, strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and an impeccable ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Order and verify contact lens orders.

Analyze and maintain operational data, manage stock control and inventory checks.

Collaborate with all staff, departments, vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality services.

Follow up with vendors and dispatchers to safe delivery of ordered items.

Communicate changes in an order process to relevant parties.

Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.

Confer with Supervisors and Department Heads to resolve operational problems and ensure positive client, vendor and employee relationships.

Promote efficiency by implementing the department’s standard operational procedures.

Implement and assist in the development of quality assurance programs for the clinic

Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements

A bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration or similar relevant field

2+ years of operations experience is desirable.

Outstanding organizational and time management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Exceptional detail-orientation and analytical skills

Ability to multitask, handle stressful situations and work to tight deadlines.

Ability to promote efficiency toward achieving business objectives.

Ability to work with others.
