Job Summary

Teesas Education has developed a mobile learning app (Teesas Education App) targeted at children from preschool age to Primary 6 and also all age groups in learning local languages. Teesas provides high quality, indigenously adapted video tutorials from the best teachers in Nigeria, explaining foundational curriculum-aligned concepts with delivery in English and major Nigerian languages including Yoruba, Hausa , Igbo , Ijaw, Ibibio etc to ease understanding.

Teesas has been designed to imprint in young pupils the skills of literacy, numeracy, and communication. We also expose them to the elementary concepts of science and technology and you will see that the experience that we offer is wholesome and robust.

We currently source for a Product Manager who will be responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products.  The role also requires working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Responsibilities:

Define the product strategy and roadmap

Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities

Be an expert with respect to the competition

Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product

Perform product demos to customers

Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals

Deliver a monthly revenue forecast

Develop sales tools and collateral

Propose an overall budget to ensure success

Brief press and analysts and go on press tours

Act as a leader within the company

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Product Manager

Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)

Excellent teamwork skills

Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
