Job Summary

Our organization provides core services from Exploration to Production of Oil and Gas assets and also renewable energy. Our Management Team is a combination of professionals with competencies across various sectors and experts in their fields We seek the services of a competent “Project Task Manager”


Experience And Qualification Requirements:

At least 5+ years of documented work experience scheduling major projects tasks

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field from a four-year college or technical school is preferred.

Proficient in using project management software tools, methodologies and best practices.

Operations and Engineering experience in the oil industry. (Profound experience in heavy industry/Rotating equipment will be an added advantage)

Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline.

PMP certification


Job Function:

Works directly with Project and/or Program Managers to support the execution of all scheduling controls processes and systems on large-scale EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) projects Manages the task assignment.

Manages Project Planning, Execution, and closeout activities to assure the delivery of Project tasks coincides with the timing needed by clients.

Performs duties as a Task manager to facilitate daily project tasks engagement and assure impediments facing the team are handled efficiently and effectively.

Responsible for creating work breakdown structure, building and maintaining supporting cost and resource loaded schedules in a Scheduling software on assigned projects and programs in accordance with client project management processes.

Support the segment managers on project Risk Management and implementation tracking and gap reviews on risk mitigation plans.

Create and maintain project delivery information in assigned software, establishing and reporting project forecasts – Drive aggressively project schedules,

Provide analysis and reporting as required by the manager and represent project controls within the project management team.

Assess gaps and key requirements for meeting schedules and report to management. Advise management of risks that may affect project costs, schedules, and client relations.

Work with Project Manager & senior project management team to evaluate and report on project change requests.

Facilitate and participate in the internal and external schedule review meetings. Be able to lead those meetings if appropriate.

Ability to evaluate the schedule to ensure that project delivery changes do not impact the overall project.

Perform other duties as assigned by management related to project controls and cost controls.
