Job Summary

We’re looking for a Senior Communications Manager to help shape our all-in-one privacy solution and join our mission to show the world that protecting your privacy online can be simple.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll collaborate with our CEO, senior leadership, and team members at all levels to develop and execute communications strategies, manage product announcements, brief media and external stakeholders, act as a company spokesperson, respond to breaking news in real-time, write corporate messaging, and more.

Requirements

Ability to lead and collaborate on high-impact and complex projects from proposal through post-mortem.
Skills to wrangle vague problems, propose innovative solutions, and execute them with a strong focus on metrics.
Brilliant communication through storytelling, with the ability to construct powerful narratives that move our brand and reputation forward
5+ years of experience in media relations.
Extensive knowledge of how to find, build, and maintain media connections.
Eagerness to engage with reporters and respond to incoming requests.
Natural leadership that can rally teams of all kinds to work with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver on communications campaigns, including our senior executives, partners, marketing, HR, and engineering teams (and beyond!).
Incredible organizational skills and attention to detail without losing sight of the larger story we’re trying to tell.
Experience writing and editing complicated long-form content, like statements we release to the press, as well as pithy social media content.
Energy and enthusiasm for finding new ways to tell our story to new audiences, who might not have realized how large a role data collection and a lack of privacy plays in their lives.
A track record of prioritizing, planning, and executing communication strategies that meet overall organization goals.
Ability to confidently provide feedback to an array of stakeholders, internal and external.
