Job Summary

Teesas Education has developed a mobile learning app (Teesas Education App) targeted at children from preschool age to Primary 6 and also all age groups in learning local languages. Teesas provides high quality, indigenously adapted video tutorials from the best teachers in Nigeria, explaining foundational curriculum-aligned concepts with delivery in English and major Nigerian languages including Yoruba, Hausa , Igbo , Ijaw, Ibibio etc to ease understanding.

Teesas has been designed to imprint in young pupils the skills of literacy, numeracy, and communication. We also expose them to the elementary concepts of science and technology and you will see that the experience that we offer is wholesome and robust.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Design and implement test cases for products.
• Document results of tests for the software development team.
• Carry out product reviews and inform the development team of defects and errors.
• Analyze bugs and errors found during tests and reviews.
• Monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress.
• Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectations.
• Recommend improvements in the software to enhance user experience and the product's efficiency.
• Work together with the development team to enhance and improve programs.
• Research and compare similar competitor products.
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
• Assess risks early in the production pipeline and deliver reports and recommendations on how to fix the situation to the development team.
• Work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to acquire and exchange information on Software Testing issues, processes, and best practices.

Qualification and Skills:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (Added advantage).
• Minimum 3-5 years of Software Testing experience.
• A passion for testing software products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good knowledge of software engineering process, development lifecycle, product release lifecycle and software quality testing.
• Experience working in an Agile Environment which includes flexibility and ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements.
• Strong project and time management skills with a track record of being able to deliver within agreed timelines.
• Team player that has the ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented, fast-paced environment, work hard and have fun.
• Able to prioritize, be flexible and handle multiple projects with varying deadlines in a multi-task environment.
• Extraordinary organizational skills and the ability to follow up on tasks.
• Superior attention to detail & a documentation evangelist.
• Good Knowledge of Manual and Automated Testing across the following platforms - Mobile App, Web App & API.
• Experience using mobile, web and API testing tools e.g Selenium, Appium, Postman, Newman is an added advantage.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• High standards of quality and personal integrity.
• Highly adaptable and a fast learner.
