Job Summary

Location: Lagos State

Our client is looking for an experienced business development manager to develop and implement growth strategies for the achievement of revenue growth. The individual will help in researching, identifying new business opportunities, coordinating operational activities, strategizing and providing advisory services to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
• Perform marketing research to identify new business opportunities
• Form strong synergy with key team members and executives to establish strategies for pursuing new opportunities
• Develop and implement strategies and plans that will help to manage the portfolio of retail clients
• Champion and be involved in creating innovative and solution-driven strategies for debt recovery and credit financing
• Map out clear paths for the effective administration of credit and grant portfolio through proper execution and documentation as well as recovery and collection efforts
• Work with stakeholders in order to offer appropriate products in alignment with targets and liquidity management process
• Increase overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship
• Build strong relationships with customers, clients and business partners

Job Requirement
• A minimum of 3 years of working experience in the financial/insurance sector and further experience working in a consulting capacity, providing advisory and guidance with risk mitigation and credit management would be of even greater advantage.
• A BSC/HND in Accounting, Insurance, Business Administration and/or any relevant course of study. While an MBA would be of added advantage.
• Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better and innovative solutions
• Must be an innovative thinker with great negotiation skills
• A Goal getter who is highly organized
• Track record of achievement in Managing a business would be an additional plus
• Great analytical skills and problem-solving skill
