Responsibilities
Provision, secure, maintain, and support essential hardware and software for Pearl employees
Maintain and enhance Service Catalog and Run Books for critical IT systems
Open, close, and audit cloud service accounts for Pearl employees
Establish, staff, and maintain IT helpdesk functions
Create and maintain documentation, videos, training, and other media enabling Pearl employees to ‘self help’ whenever possible
In alignment with ITIL, or other formal framework, establish protocols and services fit for purpose for the organization in various phases of growth
With supervisor, manage and provide input to annual IT budget, and sporadic budget modifications as necessary
Improve security training for Pearl employees
Manage business continuity tabletop exercises
Ensure organizational compliance with insurance requirements regarding data security
Requirements
Authorization to legally work in the US (Pearl is unable to sponsor employment visas at this time)
Thorough knowledge of current threat landscape and mitigation strategies
Impeccable Customer Service demeanor, care, and support for colleagues
Expertise in MacOS internals with an uncanny ability to diagnose and remedy user problems
Ability to create helpful and easily consumed training materials
Attention to detail
Strong moral center
Ability to adapt to changing environments and circumstances
Ability to establish new operating procedures and manage change in ensuring their adoption
Experience with remote support and distributed teams
Please note that Pearl requires employees to be fully vaccinated for business travel and in-person meetings. Infrequent travel for team and/or company wide meetings is anticipated for all positions.
