Job Summary

• Consult technical documentation such as schematics, manuals, and codes to troubleshoot and maintain control systems and instrumentation.
• Manage SCADA devices in an industrial environment.
• Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain control, measurement, and indicating instrumentation, including pneumatic, analog, and digital systems.
• Configure and program Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) and Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC).
• Organize and procure PLC control components for maintaining plant process control systems.
• Collaborate with corporate IT staff on network and computer-related activities.
• Prepare technical reports documenting equipment issues and changes.
• Lead projects for implementing equipment changes and improvements.
• Provide on-call support for production needs.
• Install and terminate electrical, pneumatic, and fluid connections.
• Inspect, test, diagnose, and repair faulty instruments and systems.
• Calibrate components and systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Assist in plant design, modification, and hazard analysis.
• Maintain computer-based control systems and perform scheduled maintenance programs.
