Job Summary

Responsibilities
Build, improve, and maintain back-end systems to support multiple business areas
Work with cross functional team like product management, data engineers, QA and others to constantly improve our products and adapt to new customer needs
Work with other engineers to constantly improve the capabilities, reliability, and cost of our systems

Requirements
5+ years professional software engineering experience
Expert in building reliable, performant distributed systems
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python required
Proficiency in C++, and object-oriented design skills
Experience serving as technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle, from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance is preferred
AWS Cloud Experience using EC2, Lambda, ECS, RDS and DocumentDB
Experience building event driven architectures at high scale using Kafka
Proficient with shell scripting, basic Unix command-line tools, git, Docker
Familiar with distributed data processing platforms such as Apache Spark
Strong CS fundamentals
Ability to build good rapport and relationships across teams
Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and mathematical skills, and sound judgment
Familiarity with mobile location data and ad tech industry
Experience breaking down complex problems into manageable steps to solve
Experience in CI/CD environment is plus.
Familiarity with GIS concepts and tools a plus
