Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer at SellMedia Group, you will be responsible for the deployment, automation, and maintenance of our production systems. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to create efficient, reliable, and scalable infrastructure. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our applications and services are delivered with the highest levels of reliability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based infrastructure.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and testing of applications.

Monitor system performance, availability, and security; implement solutions to maintain optimal operation.

Work closely with development teams to ensure that applications are designed for the cloud and optimized for performance.

Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure and applications.

Diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues in production, staging, and development environments.

Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a related role, with a strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or similar certifications.

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins).

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and version control systems (Git).

Expertise in managing cloud services and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices.

Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and log management solutions.

Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
