We’re looking for an entrepreneurial developer to join the team and drive the development of our back-end architecture. The ideal candidate works on personal projects or start-up ideas in their spare time, has a ‘get things done’ mindset, and wants to be involved in the end-to-end process from product design through to deployment.

Every member of our dev team handles interesting work every day, working on solutions to difficult algorithmic problems – not just connecting APIs. Our stack is React, Django, PostgreSQL, deployed on AWS. We focus on hiring smart people and getting out of their way, which means less meetings and interruptions, and more time for you to get things done.

Requirements

You have 1+ years of experience developing the back end of web applications. Specific experience with Django is beneficial
You have a deep understanding of RESTful API structures
You are comfortable with python testing frameworks
Any interest in AI, machine learning, AWS infrastructure, or frontend frameworks such as React would be great, but not required
