Location: Ogere (Ogun State)
Salary: 200k gross
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for setting up and implementing the resort's preventative maintenance programme
• Coordinates and implements regulatory procedures and audits (safety of people and property etc)
• Ensures a beautiful and tidy resort garden, as well as take care of other external installations (i.e. refuse area,
sports equipment and fixtures, as well as outdoor entertainment and recreation areas).
• Makes sure that fire security installations are in good working order
• Runs regular checks on technical equipment to prevent any problems
• Implements corrective action plans and prevents problems form occurring with external areas and installations.
• Prepares and tracks the action plans instigated by the Resort Manager
• Checks application of water hygiene and safety procedures
• Advises the Resort Manager when specialist intervention is required
• Ensures the evolution of his/her knowledge and the safety of any interventions or actions taken
• Organise the work for maintenance and grounds personnel and external experts
• Follows up investment and maintenance budgets (contracts, purchasing etc)
• Handles relations with sub-contractors
• Tracks and optimise energy and water consumption
• Organise and follows up security and fire prevention training for all resort staff
• Ensures the resort's security register is up-to-date.
• Ensures respect for the environment
REQUIREMENTS
• Vocational diploma or degree in electronics, mechanical or technical studies, or degree in resort maintenance
• 5 years of experience in a similar field
• Must have practical and theoretical skills in related areas: cold-storage, air-conditioning, building pathology,
water processing, building regulations
• Knowledge and experience of associated computer applications
• Fluent in English and a locally spoken language
