Location: Lagos Mainland
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY
- Provides high-level strategic and administrative support and assistance to the Managing Director
- Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting/writing corporate mails
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate business records, documents and reports
- Arranges travel and accommodations for executives
- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional manner and accurately take messages
- Coordinate travel arrangements (both domestic and international) and create trip itineraries for the Managing Director
- Schedules and attends meetings on behalf of Managing Director, taking notes and recording minutes
- Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of the Managing Director, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff
- Performs office tasks including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and performing basic bookkeeping
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Managing Director
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- At least 5-7 years of broad and progressive leadership/executive level experience performing advanced, diversified and confidential duties in a blue ship company
- Knowledge of basic accounting, budgeting or business practices and methods
- Ability to work flexibly and independently, set priorities, work simultaneously on numerous tasks, use good judgement and initiative, and meet/exceed deadlines
- Possess strong communication and presentation skills
- Has a proven record of displaying strong attention to details
- Possess exceptional office technology skills including Microsoft products, virtual platforms, and a willingness to learn and master new technologies as needed (Tech Savvy)
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
- Ability to gather data, evaluate and convert data and conduct business analysis
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- An expert in all Microsoft Office Suit programs
