Job Description

We are looking for a protocol officer with hands-on experience working with a senior executive. The successful candidate will work with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a government owned medical services parastatal in Edo state

Position Description

1. The Protocol officer to the CEO logistics support and coordination for all CEO related activities.
2. Lead planning and coordination of major events (internal and external).
3. After visits from dignitaries, protocol officers frequently ensure proper follow-up with thank you notes and tokens of appreciation such as commemorative photographs, plaques and trophies.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Provide input to all logistics arrangements within the agency.
2. Lead all security and transportation arrangements for CEO
3. Facilitate the organization of official ceremonies, such as official visits, the signing of protocol agreements, and official social functions, such as receptions and luncheons.
4. Collate information and manage arrival and departure schedules of agency’s guests.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Experience in handling of travels and protocol activities for Nigeria’s added advantage.
2. Bachelors degree / HND in sciences, social sciences or equivalent.
3. Good written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to manage multiple deadlines while organizing and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
