We are an indigenous Nigeria Mobile Technology company and have been in business since 2014. We produce customize, quality and affordable devices for our Customers. As a result of our continuous progress and growth, the need to hire a seasoned Financial Controller became necessary.

The ideal individual must possess excellent Leadership qualities, a charismatic personality, vast knowledge of Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Auditing, Internal Control, Sales Analysis, Adept Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Reporting, Budgeting and Income Statement Management, Return on Investment Management, Accounting Operations, Inventory Control and Cost Control. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee all company accounts and investments;

Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts;

Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and internal auditor to ensure proper compliance with all regulations;

Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback;

Monitor and supervise all necessary reporting to the banks and backup system reports;

Supervise maintenance of company bank balance and remain cognizant of outstanding checks;

Ensure all financial statements and tables are always correct and precise;

Reconcile all bank statements and monthly financial reports;

Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems;

Review financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation;

Develop financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting;

Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities;

Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies;

Report to the CEO with timely and accurate financial information.

General Education

Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance or equivalent

Excellent knowledge of computer applications especially the Microsoft suite and accounting software

Professional Qualification 

Master’s degree is an added advantage

ICAN / ACCA, CFA

Experience

Minimum of 10 years cognate experience

Hands on Finance Controller or Finance Manager roles

Ability to negotiate credit terms with banks

Ability to analyse large volumes of complex information, interpret this and use it to construct straightforward plans;

Superior knowledge of business functions, exceptional budgeting, and finance skills, and strong leadership qualities.
