Job Summary

Responsibilities
As Reconciliations Analyst you will:

Perform reconciliations of the assets of the company, and internal accounts as well
Carry out controls to ensure financial data quality, completeness and integrity
Liaise with other teams on disputed/failed items. Responsible for providing quick support to the Finance team or the Payment Operations team
Perform duties required to deliver timely, according to period close schedules. Week and month closing
Monitor different Operations performance dashboards to take action when required
Control assets balances information is correctly and timely maintained in the systems
Assist external and internal auditors during financial/systems/operations audits
Take leadership in certain projects or processes to provide the solution desired
Document processes for internal and audit purposes
Collaborate in ad hoc tasks or projects
Attend to long term projects for process optimisation
Look after the correct systems performance
Put forward systems and working processes improvements

Basic Qualifications
3+ years experience working within the Operations department of a fintech, bank or regulated financial services organisation
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, economics, or related field.
Experience in either Reconciliations, Payments, Cards or Operations control/monitoring
Understanding of basic accounting rules
Strong technology skills
Data analysis. Advanced excel or database skills. High attention to details.
